#2: the "i got my finger in her doodie-hole" show

We recorded this show on August 20th - between a few technical difficulties and me catching some flu-bug, we couldn't get it out right away.

This was recorded live/onsite at Osteria Pizza in Virginia Highlands with "the cheap mic", no mixer, castblaster/laptop, and an iRiver. At some point during the show, we hit a button or a cord or something and the audio went very loud...then, later on, went very quiet. Between this and using the wrong earphones - levels were a bit challenged.

In any event, we did some post production clean-up. Mainly, we wanted to ensure that the artist's music came across more clearly. After all, this is about promoting artists.

============
Show Notes:
- Intro from Osteria: Kenya Ware and Poppa Snoop in the house with Walt, Malik, and Adam.
- Music: "I Got My Finger In Her Doodie Hole" by The Cotton Pickaz (we're trying to find out how you can buy this great song and will let you know).
- Interview with Daz Dillinger from the Dogg Pound.
- Music: Kalislim (visit her site and buy her new album)
- Interview combined with the PsychoBitch Segment: We have an interview with the lovely, smart, and "busy" Kenya Ware who:
  • Dishes the psychobitch dish on people in the book "Confessions of a Video Vixen" and coins this segment "Calling Out Names".
  • Updates us on her move to Atlanta and what she's busy doin'.
  • Tells us about a new DVD she produced with Daz and the DPG called "DPG Eulogy" - the DVD is a documentary covering the last 10 years of the Dogg Pound.
  • What !!! Her favorite spot in the ATL is MAGIC CITY !!! Damn - we got to do a show with her from there.
- Music: "Last Tattoo" by Rehab (buy their music here).
- BootyCall Segment:
  • Kenya returns and shares a story about a player who tried a "Back-to-Back Booty Call" on her.
  • Adam shares a story about a couple he saw "gettin' it on" in the upstairs, back corner booth of East Andrews doin' a "Back Corner Booth Booty Call".
  • Kenya explains booty calls are also dependent on the type of freak that you are...but she's too shy to tell us all the details !!!

cold beer !!!
get that phat punani cold beer here !!!

We've been asked to release our sponsor's beer commercial in a "stand-alone format" as it's own podcast file (as someone clears their throat while yelling "bullshit" in the background).

Please feel free...we mean "really, really" free to pass this along to anyone who might find it humorous or entertaining...or maybe someone might want to play it on another podcast. Heck, we even give you a fully sub-licensable license to re-dsitrbute this file anywhere you see fit (as long as you give us just a bit of credit by mentioning our website's URL).

muchas gracias,
the crunkrockradio crew

#1R: oh shit - it's a fuckin' chipmunk remix bitches !!!

So...here's the story...I am setting up our first show's distribution on ODEO.com. Then, I go to play it back and get this crazy ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS version?!?!?! What the hell is up in thurrr with ODEO? This is really funny.

Walt, Malik, and Adam are transformed into Alvin, Simon, and Theodore - the new hosts of CrunkRockRadio.com!

If you listened to the first show, this is a treat...it's a complete "remix" (re-mastering) of the show with a whole different feel. I kinda like it like this too...maybe we drop it like this all the time.

first show update

Well, we definitely ran into some technical issues getting this first show together. Please pardon our "construction." Besides the ever-present computer gremlins, there are some audio level issues and digital skips. Enough was screwed up that we did a bit of post-production (as we like to pretend we're perfectionists). The rest of the issues will be fixed over the next few shows.

So, for your patience...we wanted to give you this niftly little animation we found on the inter-nizzle.

ps. iTunes took us off their directory...many people have experienced this...not sure why...maybe it's becuase we were marked "explicit"?
